Open Question: Mail from the U.S. to Jamaica?

How long would standard (basic) shipping take to reach St.Catherine/Kingston Jamaica from Ohio U.S.A? a letter that is to be mailed was accidentally shipped through standard mail by my father not via FedEX causing a delay. I had called the destination and they said they haven't received it as yet and the letter was mailed in the beginning of June 2010...what is the average time span it should reach there using standard U.S. mail services?
